Our History

The Embassy Church was birthed in 2007 from the vision of the late Bishop Eddie L. Long as a satellite of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. After receiving instruction from the Lord, Bishop Long appointed Dr. Kenneth K. Law to carry out this Kingdom assignment with excellence.

On September 30, 2007, The Embassy Church held its first service in the gym of West Chatham Middle School in Pooler, GA. Dr. Law’s inaugural message, “Jesus Wept… It’s Time to Come Out of the Tomb,” ignited salvation, healing, and immediate growth. By August 2009, the ministry moved into its first location, marking divine favor and establishing a strong apostolic footprint in Pooler, Georgia.

Driven by a God-given mandate to “rebuild and restore the family locally and globally,” The Embassy Church has championed spiritual, relational, financial, and health wholeness. The ministry’s reach expanded through senior home outreach, food and clothing distribution, school partnerships, and college ministry. In Fall 2008, Dr. Law became Chaplain for Savannah State University Football, amplifying The Embassy’s impact among youth and young adults.

Over time, the Embassy’s influence has extended far beyond the Coastal Region—spanning up to five continents through missions, partnerships, digital ministry, and global discipleship.

Following the passing of Bishop Eddie L. Long, the ministry embraced its new identity as The Embassy Church in 2018, honoring its foundation while stepping boldly into its next dimension. For over 26 years of marriage, Drs. Kenneth K. & LaWanda R. Law have faithfully shepherded thousands as spiritual parents, exemplifying servanthood and the truth that “to whom much is given, much is required.”

Today, The Embassy Church stands as an Apostolic Life Center, fully committed to:
Loving people · Winning Souls · Making disciples · Changing the culture · Advancing the Kingdom

Since 2007, The Embassy Church has remained R.E.A.L. — Relational, Empowering, Attracting, Loving.

With unwavering faith and Apostolic clarity, The Embassy Church continues to Follow the King and Advance the Kingdom—now advancing in Fleming, Georgia, in the liberty God has given them in Liberty County.
